The whole twisted tale...
This bike was purchased new/stock in Oct of 1996, since that time I have invested alot of time and money on Project Jawwzz. The list of upgrades and mods is too long to list here but just about everything on the bike besides the frame, transmission and the swing arm have been changed/modified/upgraded. The bike is currently on the lift again undergoing phase 4 of the transition. New chrome (primary cover, cam case, oil tank, transmission cover, etc.), new LA Choppers 16 inch Flyin Apes bars, new directionals, new struts, just to name a few. The black paint, body work and flame layout on the sheet metal was painted by Terry Pierce owner of Pierce's Customs in Newport News VA, the airbrush work was done by John Wooten of Air Dynamics and the pinstripe by Scotty. I designed the scheme using pictures taken from a dive expedition off the coast of Baja, CA.
